Our Process

At Carroll's Joinery we use a six step process to make buying and installing your new kitchen as easy and enjoyable as possible.

1Free Design Consultation*

The first appointment is all about getting to know you, understanding what you want to achieve along with functionality, layout and material options. We need to ensure that we have all of the information needed to come up with a suitable plan that meets your budget.

It is important to make an appointment so your designer can schedule uninterrupted time to spend with you when taking a design brief. This will typically take one hour. Your designer will need measurements of your kitchen space. You can either take measurements or bring a copy of your house plans.

If neither of these are an option, we can come out and do this for you however there is a charge of $150 an hour. The plan you bring us does not need to be a masterpiece as we will always do a comprehensive site measure prior to manufacture.

*Our free design consultation includes up to 3 hours of designers time valued at $225 +gst

2Design and Pricing Presentation

We will then arrange a second appointment with you where you will be presented with a proposed kitchen plan and pricing. You will get to view realistic 3D images of your kitchen with an opportunity to discuss different product and pricing options.

We do not release a copy of these concept plans until you have secured your deposit.

You are welcome to purchase these plans and renders from your Carrolls joinery designer for $400 + gst, of course if you do decide to go ahead with us this will be credited on to your account

3Confirmation and Site Measure

Upon acceptance of our quote and before we can give you an installation date we require a 50% deposit of the total bill.

Upon receipt of your deposit and your site being ready, a detailed site measure will be arranged.

At this time your job will be scheduled into production for an approximate installation date of 6 to 8 weeks from site measure, depending on the complexity of your project and products, as well as current workloads.

4Final Specifications

Your designer will contact you to arrange a finale meeting to sign off on your kitchen plan and specifications, at this meeting, your designer will discuss any minor alterations to be made from the site measure and record your final choice of materials, colours and accessories.

At this stage, we will allocate you an installation date and send your finalised plan through to our factory for the building process to commence.

5Factory Tour

When our factory team have almost completed your kitchen, your designer will invite you in to our factory so you can view your new kitchen at its near complete state. Most benchtops require templating once cabinetry is in place so the top may not be available to view prior to installation. We will show you where and how your kitchen has been made and introduce you to the team who will be installing.

At this time, your 45% payment will be due

6Installation and Sign-Off

Our team will be in touch periodically to check you are ready for installation to take place.  Once your kitchen installation is complete our team will make a time to visit to ensure everything is perfect in your new kitchen and present you with your 10 Year Transferable Warranty. At this time, the final 5% of your kitchen is due for payment.

Once your all settled in our photographer will call you to arrange a time to come out and photograph your beautiful new kitchen if this is something you are happy to have done.
